“We are very excited to be distributing Mouth•Mate with both ACE Surgical and Henry Schein Dental, who support our mission of improving oral health for all dental patients and modernizing their recovery at home,” said Cherie Le Penske, CEO of Armor Dental Corporation. “After recently completing a 600 In-Office patient trial, Chicago Midwinter provides us with a tremendous platform to showcase Mouth•Mate’s proven ability to substantially enhance patient comfort and hygiene at home following a variety of dental procedures. Our launch with ACE Surgical and Henry Schein Dental underpin a comprehensive distributor launch plan that we plan to announce in 2017.”
What is Mouth•Mate?
Armor Dental is introducing a new approach and concept to clinicians to enhance recovery and improve hygiene at home after dental procedures. Mouth•Mate has been specifically designed to decrease complications and improve healing and protects dental wounds, chronic mouth sores (such as Lichen Planus, Aphthous Ulcers), and even painful sores from cancer treatments. It is the ideal healing aid for implants, bone grafting, soft tissue grafting and teeth extractions. The oral care product can also help retract the inner cheek to help make brushing easier in hard to reach places, and improve a patient’s hygiene program at home. Patients can also begin using Mouth•Mate immediately if they have gum disease, notice a sore developing, or have had an orthodontic procedure. Patients use Mouth•Mate as they heal because it is designed specifically to eliminate pain and direct contact with the toothbrush during brushing.
During a recent in-office trial, data demonstrated that patients often felt nervous to brush near an oral wound the first couple of days following surgery and found using Mouth•Mate on the third day improved comfort and healing. Mouth•Mate is available now through ACE Surgical, Henry Schein Dental and additional distributors in the near future.
